We started retail in 2000, selling country craft and American primitive from our home, also involving home parties and then opening our first shop at home in a spare room in Adelaide. After 3 years of growing and running out of space at home we open a shop, in the old post office of Golden Grove, then 3 years later we moved into Tea Tree Plus Modbury. Back in 2005 Mel was given a present from our dear friend in the USA, a Yankee Candle, the smell and the enjoyment of this candle made us look and start to bring into Australia Yankee Candle. We were the first shop to open up selling Yankee Candle and have grown over the past years into the largest Yankee Candle shop in Australia. We do not carry any other brand of candle in our shop because Yankee Candle is the leading candle maker in the world.
Now our shop is known all the way around Australia, with internet, phone orders and personal shoppers contacting us from all parts of Australia. We have all of Yankee Candle Europe range and if you find something that we don't have let us know and we will more than happy try to obtain it for you.
